The admissions calendar for 2026-2027 is set by Ministry of Education Order no. 6060/2025, published in Official Gazette no. 825 bis of 8 September 2025.

Figures from the official admission lists validated by the Bucharest School Inspectorate (stage I, July 2026). Averages change from year to year — treat them only as a guide. Places on the academic streams are allocated through the national computerised system.

Year 5 sports class

Vocational sports, lower secondary

  • Ages 10-11 (after year 4)
  • Sports aptitude trials
  • 5 discipline: Fotbal, Volei, Tenis, Judo, Lupte
  • Timetable: 7:30–18:30, lessons plus training

Etapele admiterii

11–12 May 2026

Application forms issued

Application form annexes are issued to students who wish to sit the sports aptitude tests.

13–15 May 2026

Aptitude Trial Registration

Registration period for the sports aptitude tests. Complete applications are submitted to the school office.

18–22 May 2026

Sports aptitude tests

Assessment of sport-specific aptitude in football, volleyball, tennis, judo and wrestling, following federation standards.

25 May 2026

Initial results announced

Aptitude test results are published, followed by the appeals window where applicable.

29 May 2026

Final Results

Final results are announced after appeals, and the list of successful candidates is sent to the county admissions board.

9 July 2026

Lists validated and published

The county admissions board validates and publishes the list of candidates admitted through aptitude tests.

12 May – 12 June 2026

Information sessions

Briefings for parents and students on the admissions process and the places available.

8 July 2026

Averages and rankings published

The database of admission averages and the county ranking of year 8 leavers is published.

13 - 20 July 2026

Preferences submitted

Year 8 leavers and their parents complete their school preferences, supported by form tutors.

22 July 2026

Computerised allocation

Places are allocated by the national computerised system and results are published.

23 - 28 July 2026

Depunere Dosare

Enrolment files are submitted to the school each candidate has been allocated.

29 - 31 July 2026

Special cases resolved

The county admissions board resolves any special cases arising after allocation.

31 July 2026

Remaining places published

Remaining places are published, including those reserved for Roma candidates and candidates with special educational needs.

3 - 5 August 2026

Probe Aptitudini - Etapa II

Registration on 3 August and aptitude tests on 4-5 August, for candidates who did not take part in the first stage.

6 - 7 August 2026

Results and appeals

Aptitude test results are published and any appeals are resolved.

10 - 12 August 2026

Applications Received

Applications are accepted from candidates not allocated in the first stage, or unsuccessful in the aptitude-test classes.

17 - 18 August 2026

Repartizare Etapa II

The county board allocates second-stage candidates and publishes the results.
