The examination consists of oral papers, skills assessments and written papers
Assessment of oral communication in Romanian.
Assessment of oral communication in the mother tongue, where applicable.
Assessment of competence in a major international language.
Assessment of digital skills: computer and software use.
A written paper, compulsory for all candidates.
The compulsory paper for the stream (mathematics or history).
The optional paper for the stream and specialism.
A written paper in mother-tongue language and literature, where applicable.

Mobile phones, headphones, connected devices, smart watches and any other electronic equipment are strictly forbidden. Breaking this rule leads to disqualification and a ban from the next two sittings.
Internationally recognised qualifications (Cambridge, DELF, ECDL and similar) may be accepted in place of the language and digital skills assessments. Submit your certificates to the school office.
In 2026 the examination is run through the national digital marking platform. Scripts are scanned and marked by two independent examiners.
