Stage, music and visual arts – the artistic side of a school of champions
At Mircea Eliade Sports High School, students train every day for performance, but they also discover their artistic talents. The school theatre group, coordinated by teachers Mihaela Bogdan and Liana Collec, performs for fellow students and teachers, while the vocal group, coordinated by Liana Collec, represents the school at competitions and cultural events in Bucharest.
Theatre, music and drawing give our student-athletes a space for self-expression, confidence and teamwork – the same values they build every day on the field.

The school was filled with the magic of the holidays: with clear voices, carols and moving theatre scenes, students brought joy to their teachers. The theatre group, coordinated by teachers Mihaela Bogdan and Liana Collec, offered moments full of light and authenticity – year after year, the group grows and shines brighter.
The theatre group presented its first scenes in front of fellow students and teachers – an important moment in school life and a platform for artistic expression and personal growth. A promising debut opening the way to new shows and theatre projects.
The school theatre group staged several plays for teachers and students. The young actors showed talent and passion, captivating the audience with their performances.
At Romexpo, the vocal group coordinated by teacher Liana Collec gave a moving performance. The students also joined the debate “What do music and money have in common”, on the value of art and the financial world.
Iannis and Eduard Oanea, 10th-grade students, won first place at both the district and the city stage of the competition, coordinated by teacher Liana Collec. Music and sport make a great team!
