The first edition of a new national junior judo competition, run with the support of CSA Steaua. Over 300 competitors from across the country.

Beijing 2008, 48 kg — Romania’s first Olympic gold in women’s judo.
Los Angeles 1984, 3000m. A world record holder and a legend of Romanian athletics.
2014 and 2015, 52 kg. Two-time European champion (2012, 2015). Now coordinator of the National Junior Centre.
